World records fall at Fall Classic

Several swimmers set short course meters state, world or national records this year at the Fall Classic.

Andrew Mueller of DOC set national records for the 18-24 age group in the 800 and 1500 free events.

Thomas Maine of St. Louis Area Masters set world and national records in the 85-89 age group in the 100 and 200 fly, the 200 and 400 IM and the 200 breast.

The 800 free relay of Mary Pohlmann, Theresa McDowell, Larry Good, and Maine set the world record in the 280-plus age group.
