Expect fewer records at summer Olympics

Swimmers will set fewer records at the Olympics this year, according to a study by the Indiana University Councilman Center.

In 2008, records fell faster than ever before as swimmers utilized speed suits. But now, the suits are banned.

GRIN makes a splash at USMS Nationals in Omaha

GRIN swimmers Susan Meyers (INDY), Jutta Schickore (DOC) and Peter Finn (DOC) had extraordinary swims at the USMS Long Course Nationals July 5-8 in Omaha, Nebraska. In addition, Indy Aquatics Masters swimmer Bill Koss officiated the meet.

Munster Masters sets the pace for rookie clubs in Indiana

The newly created Munster Masters swim team has been featured in a story in The Times of Northwest Indiana.

Matt Lee coaches the team, which has about 50 registered USMS swimmers. The team has travelled all the way from northwest Indiana to the GRIN state meet and to the 5K national championship in Morse Reservoir.
